Service-Body – Mechanic Crane Training in Alberta and Saskatchewan

Our one-day, on-site Service Body Crane Certification program is designed for companies operating most brands of mechanic service-body crane, corner-mount crane, or hydraulic service crane. Whether you need new operator training or renewals, this program helps support your company’s crane safety and operator qualification requirements.

What This Certification Covers

Program content is developed with references to:

  • Alberta OHS Section 6
  • CSA Z150.
  • Applicable provincial requirements for light-duty crane operation

Operators receive a 3-year certification, valid up to:

  • 8 tons in Alberta

  • 5 tons in Saskatchewan and BC (BC limited to 25′ of boom)

  • Operators receive certification documentation suitable for employer training records and internal qualification programs.

This program is 100% on-site, delivered at your shop or yard.

  • Final operator evaluation

Rigging and sling selection training are not included in these programs.
